Filmmaker Pa Ranjith has wished the team of Happy Raj the best ahead of the film's release on Friday. The romantic comedy, starring GV Prakash and Sri Gouri Priya, is directed by first-time filmmaker Maria Raja Elanchezian.

Pa Ranjith wrote on his X handle saying that the makers have beautifully handled father-son emotional drama with fun and sensitivity. Congratulating the star cast, he said Prakash performed really good, George Maryan and Abbas stood out, and Sri Gouri Priya and Prathana Nathan delivered their parts very well.

He also praised the technical team, saying Justin Prabhakaran's music elevated the film beautifully and wished the debut director a great future.

It is worth noting that GV Prakash announced late last year that he would collaborate with Ranjith's production banner Neelam Productions, along with actors Sreenath Bhasi and Sunil.

Happy Raj is expected to revolve around two lovers who disagree with each other over how they want their wedding to be.
