Youth box office day 1: The comedy drama crosses Rs 3 crores in collections

Youth is written, directed, and headlined by Ken Karunaas, and also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Devadarshini among others

Youth box office day 1: The comedy drama, Youth, has crossed the Rs 3 crores mark in collections at the Indian box office. The film is written and directed by Ken Karunaas, in his debut.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 3.2 crores on its opening day. The film was announced to open on March 19, which marked the Ugadi festival. Youth also opened alongside other high budgest films like Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Apart from directorial duties, Ken has also headlined the film as the high school hopeless romantic, Praveen, whose multiple attempts at finding love is the core of the film.

Youth also features Anishma Anilkumar, Devadarshini Chetan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Priyanshi Yadav, Meenakshi Dinesh and Abison Thevarasa, in its cast. Karuppiah C Ram produces the film under the banner of Paarvathaa Entertainments.

GV Prakash Kumar has composed music for the film.
