Recently, we reported about Allu Arjun teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the 23rd film in his career and the filmmaker's seventh movie. Pre-production works on the film are in full swing, with Mythri Movie Makers attached to the project as its production banner.

Meanwhile, earlier this Saturday, Allu Arjun took to his Instagram Stories to wish Lokesh Kanagaraj on his birthday. Sharing a photograph featuring him with the filmmaker, the Pushpa star wrote, "Wishing a very happy birthday to my dear director Lokesh Kanagaraj. May this year bring you euphoria, joy, peace, and positivity. Have a wonderful year." This Saturday marks Lokesh's 40th birthday.

In addition for his director Lokesh Kanagaraj's birthday, Allu Arjun also shared his excitement for their upcoming project. "Excited for the AA23 LK7 journey ahead," he wrote.

Neither Mythri Movie Makers nor the film's lead actor or director has revealed any information about its story. Composer Anirudh is also part of the project, reuniting him with Lokesh after their collaborations on films such as Master, Vikram, Leo, and Coolie.

Beyond AA23, Allu Arjun also has a film with director Atlee. On the other hand, Lokesh is set to make his debut as a lead actor with DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran of Saani Kaayidham and Captain Miller fame. Interestingly, the filmmaker has announced a superhero movie with actor Aamir Khan, who too has a birthday today. However, there has not been any official updates about the aforesaid superhero film since its announcement in the recent past. As a producer, Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming movies also include Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles.
