Recently, we reported about Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar starring in a romantic film, titled Once More, written and directed by Vignesh Srikanth. Earlier this Friday, the film's producer, Yuvaraj Ganesan's Million Dollar Studios, revealed its tentatively release timeline. The film has been slated for a summer 2026 release in theatres. The makers made the announcement with a poster where Arjun's character smiles as Aditi's character wears a saree. In the caption, they wrote, "Some journeys take time… but the destination is always special. The wait is over. Once More arrives in theatres - THIS SUMMER."

The film has the same title as a 1997 movie, directed by SA Chandrasekhar and featuring actors Sivaji Ganesan, Vijay, Saroja Devi, and Simran in her Tamil debut.

Speaking of debut, Once More marks the first project of composer Hesham Abdul Wahab in Tamil cinema. Hesham is known for his work in films such as Sesham Mike-il Fathima, Hridayam, and Hi Nanna, among others. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan, editor Nash, art director Raj Kamal, and costume designer Navadevi Rajkumar.

The makers are yet to reveal plot specifics, but in his Instagram Story for the latest announcement about the film, Arjun wrote, "What does one do if life says "Once More," followed by a heart emoticon. On Thursday, he shared a cryptic post, saying, "When you love someone so very much and they end up breaking your heart, how does one possibly move on?" It appears that the title gives a hint to the answer to this question, and that the actor was only teasing the imminent announcement about the film.

Beyond Once More, Arjun Das's upcoming films also include Torpedo with Thudarum filmmaker Tharun Moorthy.
