As the makers of Hi teased a new update from the film with a new poster, it was also confirmed that the film will release on April this year. Nayanthara and Kavin stars as the leads in the film.

Hi is the directorial debut of Vishnu Edavan, who has also worked as an assistant director with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vishnu has written for songs like 'Badass' from Leo (2023), 'Porkonda Singam' from Vikram (2022), 'Polakattum Para Para' from Master (2021),

Jen Martin is composing music for the upcoming film. The rest of the technical crew consists of Rajesh Shukla as the director of photography, Philomin Raj as the editor, B Sekar as the art director, and Dinesh Kasi as the stunt choreographer.

CU Muthuselvan has written additional screenplay and dialogues for the film.

Nayanthara is producing alongside Vignesh Shivan, SS Lalit Kumar, and Umesh Kumar Bansal. KS Mayilvaganan is co-producing the film. Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studios are the banners backing the film.
