Following a brief delay due to certain technical issues, the upcoming Ken Karunaas film Youth's trailer has been dropped earlier this Saturday. Written and directed by Ken Karunaas himself, the film marks his debut as a lead actor. Earlier, he has appeared in supporting roles in films, such as 2019's Asuran to name one.

Unveiling the trailer on social media, its producer Paarvathaa Entertainments called it an "energetic and fun-filled entertainer". Earlier today, the producer apologised for a delay in the release of the Youth trailer, attributing it to "unforeseen technical issues". It was initially set to release at 5:00 pm. Meanwhile, sharing the trailer, Silambarasan TR conveyed his best wishes to the team and told Ken, "Taking the responsibility of both acting and direction at such a young age is commendable. Wishing you bigger heights ahead."

The film also stars Devadarshini, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anishma Anilkumar of Sirai fame, Priyanshi Yadav, and Meenakshi Dinesh, among others. Going by the trailer, the film's story revolves around Ken's character, a carefree college student with interests in multiple girls. Speaking about the film recently, Ken suggested that the film would explore a college student's first experience with romance.

On the technical front, the film has music by GV Prakash. The music in the trailer also includes a nod to the 'Aal Thotta Boopathy' song from 2002's Youth, starring Vijay. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Viki and editor Nash.

The film is produced by Karuppiah C Ram and Sulochana Kumar under their banners Paarvathaa Entertainments and Street Boy Studios, respectively. It is slated to hit theatres on March 19, Friday. Interestingly, films such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Love Mocktail 3 are also set to hit theatres on the same date.
