Anirudh gives facetious answer to marriage-related question

Speculation about his marriage has been around for a while now

In June last year, we reported about composer-singer Anirudh denying internet speculation about his marriage. At the time, many reports claimed that the composer would tie the knot with Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Pictures' owner Kalanithi Maran who owns the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad. There have also been reports about his relationships with some actresses. Following such speculation, he took to social media and wrote, "Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys. Please stop spreading rumours."

The singer-composer has once again evaded questions about his marriage. At a recent function, a reporter asked him when he would invite her for his marriage. He walked away to his car right away, saying "this again" before bidding farewell to the reporters gathered there.

Earlier, some Reddit users triggered the speculation about Anirudh's prospective marriage with Kavya Maran, claiming that the couple had been dating for months and were getting ready for their marriage. Even though he denied the rumour, the speculation still persists, especially among film circles. Part of this seemingly has to do with his association with Sun Pictures productions, such as Petta, Thiruchitrambalam, Beast, and Coolie.

Speaking of which, Anirudh is set to reunite with the banner again for its upcoming film, Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. His upcoming projects also include Thalaivar 173, featuring Rajinikanth, directed by Cibi Chakravarthi, and produced by Kamal Haasan under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner. He is also part of the Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan reunion film, tentatively titled KH x RK, Vijay's swansong Jana Nayagan, Vetri Maaran-Silambarasan TR's Arasan, and Nani's The Paradise.
