Ajay Dhishan and RK Dhanusha's recent romantic drama, Pookie, is all set to premiere on OTT exactly a month after its theatrical release. Helmed by Ganesh Chandra, the film hit theatres on February 13 and opened to mixed reviews.

Pookie features Ajay Dhishan as Kailash and Dhanusha as Aazhi, whose six-year relationship shatters during a heated fight. A routine argument turns into a life-changing turning point.

The film is all set to premiere on ZEE5 on March 13. A Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Pookie marks the 18th production venture of actor and music composer Vijay Antony's home banner, Vijay Antony Film Corporation. Vijay Antony's wife, Fatima Vijay Antony, is the producer of the upcoming flick.

An excerpt from CE's review of the film reads, "Leaving too much to our guess is not the purpose behind ridding elaborate flashbacks. But Ganesh Chandra has mistaken lazy writing for open-endedness, as his character designs are shy of even being termed as skeletal."

On the technical front, director Ganesh Chandra also cranks the camera for Pookie, which will feature editing and music composed by Vijay Antony. Puthiya Parithi has been credited for the story, screenplay and dialogues.
