Composer-singer Anirudh is currently busy with multiple projects in hand in many industries and languages, along with concerts across the globe. But the noted musician has made it clear that he is not interested in taking up acting projects.

In a recent interview with Provoke TV, Anirudh shared that he wants to continue making music. "I told Loki (Lokesh Kanagaraj) that he can come to acting, but I want to stay here. This is my interest. I strongly believe that audiences have given me this position after 15 years of my hard work. The love that I get from them all over India is unmatched, and the main reason for it, is my music. So I want to continue holding onto that," he said.

Anirudh further stated that these 15 years were just the beginning and wants to work for another two decades. "These 15 years doesn't feel enough and I want another round. I have more to offer. This is an encouragement for me. I usually shoot for music videos and promos, along with endorsements. I don't think I can go to a shooting spot and act for a film," he noted.

Looking back at his career, Anirudh says he never anticipated the tremendous success and love he has received over the years. "My first goal was to create music for a film before the age of 30, but here we are! Thanks to the audience for all the love. When something works well, we'd feel encouraged to put more effort for the next album. I wanted all my albums to work. I didn't just want to give two hit albums, I strived for it to sustain," he adds.

Anirudh, who last scored music for Madharaasi, has a long list of upcoming Tamil films including Jana Nayagan, Love Insurance Kompany, DC, Jailer 2, Arasan, Thalaivar 173 and KH x RK, among others.
