Actor Vidaarth, who was last seen in the ZEE5 web series Kuttram Purindhavan, starring himself and Pasupathy in lead roles, is all set to headline the upcoming film Thodakkam. Touted to be a rural drama, the project is being directed by Thulasi Raman in his directorial debut.

Sharing the title poster, the filmmaker wrote, "From A Thought… To A Team… To A Dream. Today, We Unveil Our Beginning."

While Chandini Tamilarasan plays the female lead, Thodakkam also features Malayalam actor Shreya Rukmini, known for Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali (2025) and Pavi Caretaker (2024) in her Tamil debut. Esther Anil and child actor Keshav in key roles.

On the technical team, the film has music by Bharath Shankar, cinematography by Srikanth Ravirajan, editing by Vachu Laksmin and art direction by Ralibedinez. Thodakkam is backed by A Son of Wind Studios.
