Tensions in the Middle East are rising, with the attacks on Dubai, and the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayotollah Ali Khamenei. In light of these conflicts, many countries in the region have opted to restrict air travel, and in some cases shut down airports entirely.

One such country is Qatar, from where Santhosh Narayanan travelled, later sharing his experience. "My Qatar flight was probably the very last to leave the Middle East before the complete shutdown of airports. Just connected via starlink as I am flying into the U.S Praying for the safety of all my brothers and sisters in the region," wrote the composer through his X handle.

He later shared, "I have reached the US safely. Thank you for your concerned messages and prayers."

The Supreme Leader of Iran was confirmed to be killed in joint strikes conducted by the USA and Israel, late on February 28.
