Days after wrapping filming, Haiku, starring Aegan of Kozhipannai Chelladurai-fame and Sri Devi, known for Court – State vs. A Nobody, has entered the dubbing phase. The makers announced that the first stage of the post production has begun with a simple pooja ceremony.
Apart from Sri Devi, Haiku is also set to star Minnal Murali and Sesham Mike-il Fathima actor Femina George in a key role. According to the posters released till now, the film looks to be a breezy romantic entertainer. Further details, including the plot and the rest of the cast members, are yet to be announced.
On the technical team, Haiku has music composed by Siddhu Kumar, cinematography by Priyesh Gurusamy and editing by Sakthi Pranesh. It has a screenplay jointly written by Yuvaraj as well as Hariharan Ram. Previously, Vijay Bulganin was announced as the music composer, but was recently replaced by Siddhu Kumar.
Haiku is backed by Dr D Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu, with Srinivas Niranjan serving as the co-producer. This is actor Aegan's third collaboration with Vision Cinema House after Joe (2023) and Kozhipannai Chelladurai (2024).
A release date for Haiku is yet to be announced.
