Vishnuu Vishal reveals shocking health condition before Gatta Kusthi 2 release: 'I'm hopeful...'

With just a few days left for the release of Gatta Kusthi 2, Vishnuu Vishal has left fans concerned after opening up about a debilitating autoimmune condition that he has been battling for the past three to four years.

Addressing concerns about his health after fans noticed visible changes in his appearance during the promotions of the upcoming film, he shared a a heartfelt note that he has been battling an autoimmune condition for the past three to four years.

"Many of you noticed that my face looks tired lately. The reason is that I've been dealing with an autoimmune condition for the last 3-4 years, and the prescribed medication I'm taking on and off has some visible side effects, including the bloating you've been noticing," he wrote.

The actor stressed that the treatment remains medically necessary and that prioritising his health is important. Despite the challenges, Vishnuu said his passion for work, the love he receives from audiences, and his commitment to everyone involved in Gatta Kusthi 2 motivated him to continue participating in promotional activities.

"I'm hopeful that my health will improve soon. Your concern has only encouraged me to take even better care of myself, and I'm truly grateful for every message and every bit of support," he further added.

As Gatta Kusthi 2 gears up for its theatrical release on July 3, the actor said he is entering the final phase of promotions with positivity and excitement. Since his announcement, fans have been flooding the comments, extending their support and prayers for the actor to recover soon.

Directed by Chella Ayyavu who has returned to helm the sequel, Gatta Kusthi 2 also sees Aishwarya Lekshmi coming back to portray Veera's (Vishnuu Vishal) wife Keerthi. Kaali Venkat, Karunaas and Munishkanth are reprising their roles along with Lizie Antony, Gajaraj and Sreeja Ravi. Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu are the newcomers to the sequel. Karunakaran, Mokksha and child actor Zara Zyanna are also part of the film.
