Madhavan took to social media to voice his support for Ajith Kumar and his racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing's historical outing at the Le Man Cup, held in Le Mans, France. Ajith Kumar Racing participated in the race which was held on June 12.
Taking to Instagram stories, through his official handle, Madhavan reshared a news article which highlighted the historical impact of Ajith Kumar racing's participation at Le Mans. Madhavan voiced his support by adding an array of emojis of the Indian Tricolour and salutes.
The Le Mans Cup is a six race series, which began in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year. Further races were held at Le Castellet, France and Le Mans. Further races are to be held in Belgium, the United Kingdom and Portugal.
Apart from Ajith Kumar, the Ajith Kumar Racing team consists of former F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan, Aditya Patel, and Romain Vozniak.
Meanwhile, Madhavan recently received his Padma Shri at an investiture ceremony in New Delhi.
