Actor Pavish, nephew of Dhanush, is gearing up for the release of his sophomore film as an actor, Love Oh Love. The actor, who made his debut in his uncle's directorial, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, worked as an assistant filmmaker on quite a few of Dhanush's films, including Thiruchitrambalam.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with CE promoting Love Oh Love, Pavish opened up about meeting Bharathiraja on the sets of Thiruchitrambalam. The actor revealed that the veteran filmmaker, who passed away recently, was the very first person to bless him to become an actor.
Bharathiraja passed away on June 10 due to ill health. On how he took the news of the filmmaker-actor's demise, Pavish said, “I was actually very heartbroken. Because when we begin our journey in cinema, obviously there’s no one better to seek blessings from than him."
The Attacker actor then recalled his first meeting with the 16 Vayathinile director. "When I went to get his blessings and said, ‘Sir…’, Subramaniam Siva was standing beside him. He said, ‘Sir, this is him, Pavish…’ and then Bharathiraja sir told me, ‘Hey, you should become a hero.’ The very first person who said that to me was Bharathiraja sir," he explained.
Pavish had more to add about the kind of person Bharathiraja was. "So, there will always be that sentimental connection. And I miss him deeply. The world will definitely miss his energy. He was such an incredibly positive person. Just by listening to him speak, we could understand how to truly love life," he disclosed.
In Love Oh Love helmed by Magesh Rajendran, Pavish stars alongside Naga Durga. With the film scheduled for release in July, Pavish has next signed on to play a role in Attacker. The film, helmed by debutant Dhamo Nagapooshnam, also stars Khushbu's daughter Avantika Sundar in her acting debut.
