Recently, we reported about director Rajkumar Periasamy's film, Amaran, winning multiple recognitions at the 72nd National Film Awards. Based on the life of the late Ashoka Chakra awardee Major Mukund Varadarajan, the film earned Best Director for Rajkumar Periasamy, Best Editor for R Kalaivanan, and Best Music Direction (Background Score) for GV Prakash.

On Monday, Sai Pallavi, who played Major Mukund's (Sivakarthikeyan) wife Indu Rebecca Varghese in the blockbuster film from 2024, shared her thoughts on its recent achievements. Taking to her Instagram Stories space, Sai Pallavi wrote, "My heart is full. This wasn't an easy journey, you handled everything with utmost grit & respect for the story you wanted to say! I'm emotional as im writing this; I witnessed the whole journey until this moment of you receiving this highest honor! I'm so proud and happy for you dear Rajkumar Periasamy sir. I'm celebrating your win as my own."

The actor also congratulated the other winners from Amaran at the 72nd National Film Awards. "My heartfelt congratulations to GV Prakash for the lovely music and R Kalaivanan for all the hard work."

Recently, Rajkumar and Kalaivanan celebrated their respective achievements along with the stars of their upcoming film Om, Dhanush and Mammootty, who also earned National Awards. While Mammootty won Best Actor for his performance in Bramayugam, sharing it with Kartik Aaryan for Chandu Champion, Dhanush's Raayan won Best Film in Tamil and Captain Miller won the award for Best Feature Film Promoting National, Social and Environmental Values.

Coming back to Sai Pallavi, the actor earned much appreciation for her performance in Amaran, serving as the emotional anchor of the story in the role of Indu Rebecca Varghese. On the other hand, GV Prakash's background score for Indu's love story became an instant hit among the youth at the time of Amaran's release.
