JioHotstar Tamil has finally begun updating Heart Beat fans with details about the third season. On Monday, they shared a promo video with the words "coming soon". On Tuesday, they also updated their fans that an official update will be dropped on Wednesday at 6 pm.

However, on Tuesday, fans of the series were left stunned after lead actor Deepa Balu, who plays Dr Reena, shared a cryptic farewell note signed off with her character's name. The post quickly sparked speculation about her exit from the show. While several fans expressed disbelief in the comments, others believed it was merely a promotional gimmick ahead of the new season.

On Wednesday, however, JioHotstar Tamil appeared to indirectly suggest that Deepa Balu will indeed return for the upcoming third season. Marking the actor's birthday, the streamer shared a photo of her on Instagram. Interestingly, instead of using a still from the previous seasons, the post featured what appears to be a new image.

In the first season of Heart Beat, Deepa's character was seen wearing light blue scrubs before being promoted to dark blue scrubs in the second season. In the birthday post, however, she is seen in purple scrubs—a detail that has fuelled speculation that the image is from the yet-to-be-released third season. The makers, however, have not officially confirmed whether the photo is from the upcoming season.

Heart Beat also stars Anumol, Karthik Kumar, Charukesh M, Sabareesh, Yogalakshmi, RG Ram, Mohan Raman, Padine Kumar, Guru Lakshman, Sarvhaa, Amit Bhargav, Akshathaa Ajit, Shivaraman M, and Abdool Lee, among others. While season 1 ran from March to August 2024, season 3 went on from May to November 2025. More than season 1, season 2 became more successful after the introduction of Karthik Kumar's character.

Written by Deepak Sundarrajan, the series has been directed by him along with Abdul Kabeez and Chidambaram Manivannan. A premiere date for Heart Beat season 3, along with details about the plot and new cast members, is awaited.
