Earlier, we reported about the Tamil Nadu State Awards being announced for films dating from 2016 to 2022 and television entertainment for works starting from 2014 and ending in 2022. One of the winners of the Tamil Nadu State Television Awards is Radikaa Sarathkumar, who got acknowledged for her performance in the serial Vani Rani. Radikaa responded to her achievement through a social media post earlier today.
Taking to X, she wrote, "I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government of Tamil Nadu for this prestigious Tamil Nadu State Government Award. While I have been honoured with the Best Actress award for Vaani Rani, this recognition also embraces the many meaningful projects produced by our company, Radaan over the years." Radaan Mediaworks is known for the actor's serials, such as Chellamey, Arase, Annamalai, Maruperavi, Palaivanapuyal, and Vani Rani.
Radikaa Sarathkumar shared the recognition with "every actor and technician who has received this award and to all those who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes." The actor acknowledged their "passion, commitment, and love for the craft," calling these "the true strength" of her journey with Vani Rani. "I am deeply grateful and truly proud to share this honour with all of you," the actor added.
In a separate post, she congratulated everyone who got recognised with a Tamil Nadu State Award. "Your achievements truly deserve this honour," the actor-politician wrote.
On the film front, the actor will next be seen in director Sivakumar Murugesan's Thaai Kizhavi, which is slated for a February 20 release in theatres. She is almost unrecognisable in the film's posters, and this has earned the appreciation of her colleagues in the film industry.
