Actor Vikranth, who was recently seen in the web series LBW- Love Beyond Wicket, has signed his next film. The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by debutant filmmaker Joseph Deepan S and backed by R Sasi Kumar and Fazall Raja under their banners IQ Cinemas and Little Crew Production. Further details on the cast and technical crew are yet to be announced. Plot details of the upcoming film are also under wraps.

LBW: Love Beyond Wicket, which was released earlier this month, marked Vikranth's maiden web series. Written by Aruna Rakhee and directed by Ganesh Karthikeyan, the film revolves around Rangan (Vikranth), who steps in as a coach for the underperforming Muthu Nagar team, whose players are as reckless as they are nonchalant to Rangan's inputs.

On the big screen, he was seen in four films last year - Sivakarthikeyan-AR Murugadoss' Madharaasi, Sonia Agarwal's Will and Kichcha Sudeep's Mark and Raju Jeyamohan's Bun Butter Jam.
