Kichcha Sudeep's action thriller Mark hit theaters during Christmas 2025. As the film continues its run, it is now set to release on OTT. Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Mark is the second project between the actor and the director following the success of Max. The film gained attention for its slick action and intense story.
The makers have confirmed that Mark will start streaming on Jio Hotstar from January 23. To reach a wider audience, Mark will be available in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film posted average box office numbers. It had a steady theatrical performance despite dealing with piracy threats and negative campaigns before its release. Still, it received a fairly positive response from viewers.
Along with Sudeep in the lead role, Mark features a strong supporting cast, including Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Naveen Chandra, Archana Kottige, and Roshini Prakash.
Interestingly, Mark will not be the only Kannada film making its OTT debut on January 23. The fantasy drama 45, which also released in theaters on the same day as Mark, will begin streaming on the same date. ZEE5 announced that 45 will start streaming from January 23, and both films, which clashed at the box office, are doing the same on digital platforms.
Directed by Arjun Janya and produced by Ramesh Reddy, 45 explores themes of death, the soul’s journey after life, references to the Garuda Purana, fate, sin, and karma. It contrasts the roles of those who wait and those who kill, all connected to the life of an ordinary man. With these elements, the film aims to create a new cinematic world rooted in fantasy and philosophy.
