Actor-politician Khushbu took to social media to share her praise for the crime thriller Sirai. The film, starring Vikram Prabhu, premiered on Zee 5 on January 23.

Taking to her X handle, Khushbu wrote, "Finally watched the much spoken about silent genuine winner of recent times, Sirai. A must watch. Simple story told brilliantly. Everyone has performed fantastically. Especially Vikram Prabhu. So proud of you Vikram. Your understanding of the character and delivering with so much restraint proves you are the new chip of the old block. So proud of you."

She added, "Director Suresh Rajakumari deserves a pat for the perfect starcast. Actuatually everything is just perfect. Not a lose scene, not an unwanted scene or songs. Congratulations to the entire cast and the crew on the humongous success."

Sirai was released theatrically on December 23, 2025, to positive reviews. The film follows a cop who escorts a prisoner during a transfer from Vellore prison to Sivagangai court, while facing unexpected hurdles on the way.
