After recently announcing the release window of Sananth and Madonna Sebastian's upcoming romantic film Heartin, the makers dropped some stills featuring the leads on Friday. Helmed by first-time filmmaker Kishore Kumar, Heartin also stars debutant Emaya T in a prominent role.

Sananth was last seen in a prominent role in the 2022 film Mahaan, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and led by Vikram. He made cameo appearances in Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023) and Demonte Colony 2 (2024). Madonna, meanwhile, was last seen in the Telugu film Drive, which was released last year. Madonna also awaits the release of Adhirshtasaali, directed by Mithran Jawahar and headlined by Madhavan.

Speaking about the film, director Kishore Kumar had, on an earlier occasion, said, "Heartin is a rom-com with an interesting balance of romance and humour. We are creating a film that will appeal to audiences of all kinds." He further revealed, "In a way, the film is set in a space that deals with two episodes of Sananth’s character’s life—his first and current love."

On the technical team, the film has cinematography handled by Mukes, music composed by Rajesh Murugesan, and Barath Vikraman takes care of the editing department. Heartin has been produced by R Ravindran under the banner of Trident Arts and co-produced by Step One Studios.
