The makers of VR Dinesh's next, Karuppu Pulsar, revealed that the film will release on January 30. In a first for Dinesh, the film will feature him in dual roles.

Karuppu Pulsar is directed by Murali Krish, in his directorial debut. Murali previously worked with director M Rajesh, known for Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009) and Boss Engira Baskaran (2010), as an assisstant director along with working on the screenplays of Rajesh's films.

Centred around jallikattu, the film will revolve around two men, one from Chennai with a pulsar, and another from Madurai with a bull named Karuppu. The film will chronicle the changes that take place with their lives after they meet.

The cast of the film also includes Reshma Venkatesh, Madhunika, Saravanan Subbaiah, Mansoor Ali Khan, Kalaiyarasan.

Inbaraj Rajendran has composed music for Karuppu Pulsar along with writing the lyrics. The crew of the film also includes Baskar Arumugam as the director of photography, Sasi Daksha as the editor, Soundhar as the art director, and Ramesh as the stunt choreographer.

Karuppu Pulsar is amongst VR Dinesh's releases for 2026, with his upcoming film with Pa Ranjith, also starring Arya, also on cards
