Sirai Box Office: The action thriller crosses Rs 15 crores in collections on Day 10

While collections surged for Sirai around New Year's day, the rise in collections stabilised with the onset of the weekend

Sirai Box Office: The Vikram Prabhu headlined action thriller, Sirai, has crossed Rs 15 crores at the Indian box office. After 10 days in theatres, the film, which was released on December 25, continues to perform well.

Sacnilk reports that the film collected Rs 2 crores on the tenth day of its theatrical run. The film crossed Rs 11 crores totally, after collecting Rs 2.92 crores on New Year's day. The film continued to perform well by collecting Rs 1.52 crores on January 2.

The film has benefited continuously with the holiday crowd, starting from its Christmas release, and the subsequent long weekend, and the New Year's Eve, and the subsequent long weekend.

Sirai opened to positive reviews, and subsequently received high acclaim from Tamil filmmakers. LK Akshay Kumar, the son of producer SS Lalit Kumar, is making his debut with Sirai. Lalit Kumar produced the film under Seven Screen Studios.
