Sirai is continuing its steady ascent in box office collections, even after a week of its release. The film directed by Suresh Rajakumari, stars Vikram Prabhu in the lead.
After collection Rs 1.35 crores and crossing Rs 7 crores in collection on Tuesday, the film collected Rs 1.4 crores and brought up its collections to Rs 9 crores, as per Sacnilk.
The steady rise in collections can be attributed to positive reviews from critics and audiences. A lack of a competition can also be attributed for the success.
Sirai reunites the Taanakkaran duo, Vikram Prabhu and Tamizh, who star and have written the film, respectively. LK Akshay Kumar, the son of Sirai's producer SS Lalit Kumar, has made his debut with the film. Anishma Anilkumar and Anantha also star in Sirai.
