New poster of Vishal's Magudam features the actor in a spirited avatar

Ravi Arasu was initially the director for Magudam and later stepped away due to unknown reasons. The film is now helmed by Vishal

On Thursday, on the occasion of the New Year, the makers of Vishal's 35th film, Magudam, which is also helmed by him, unveiled a new poster from the film. Vishal is seen in a rather spirited avatar, donning colourful attire and sitting on a car.

Shooting for the film was recently wrapped. The poster also revealed that the film is set for a summer 2026 release. Ravi Arasu was initially the director for Magudam and later stepped away due to unknown reasons. He is now credited with the story for the film.

Vishal also stars as the lead in Magudam, which also features Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film. Pon Parthiban is writing the dialogues, along with Anandh Kumaresan writing the dialogues in Tamil and Rajesh A Moorthy writing the dialogues in Telugu. The crew of the film includes Richard M Nathan as the director of photography, NB Srikanth as the editor, and G Durairaj as the art director.
