

Vishal is simultaneously working on filming the climax portions of Magudam as well as being engaged in the post production work of the action film. Sharing an update with the audiences, Vishal Film Factory posted a behind-the-stills video where several crew members were involved in shooting an intense scene. The makers revealed that 100 stunt persons along with 800 crew members are present at the location in Chennai to ensure the scenes are shot seamlessly under his vision.
The actor had stepped into direct Magudam during its last leg of shooting after creative differences with Ravi Arasu, who was initially in charge of helming the project. The upcoming film marks Vishal's directorial debut and Ravi Arasu is now credited with the story for the movie.
The action film also stars Dushara Vijayan as the female lead, with Anjali and Yogi Babu in prominent roles. Plot details are under wraps. However, the first look poster of the film featured Vishal in three distinct looks: as a corporate office employee, a young don, and a slightly older gang leader.
This film marks the 99th production feature of the popular Super Good Films banner.
Magudam's music will be composed by GV Prakash, who is joining hands with the actor for the second time after Mark Antony. Cinematography is by Richard M Nathan, and editing is handled by Srikanth NB. G Durairaj is the production designer. A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
