Arulnithi is set to unleash his never-before-seen sinister side in Demonte Colony 3. The first look from the third instalment of the horror-thriller, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, suggests that evil has the upper hand in the upcoming film. While the second part had the tagline, 'Vengeance of the Unholy', the third part is titled 'The End is too far,' suggesting that the murky side behind the evil incidents will continue to thrive amidst attempts to thwart it.

Demonte Colony 2 was released in 2024 and continued the story of Arulnithi where he played dual roles. As earlier reported, the third part's returning cast also features lead actors Priya Bhavani Shankar, Archana Ravichandran, Muthukumar and Meenakshi Govindarajan. Sam CS returns as the music composer for Demonte Colony 3.

Producer Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios said the film is shaping to exceed expectations. "Beginning 2026 with Demonte Colony 3 feels incredibly promising. Ajay brings extraordinary discipline to the process, he delivers on schedule while never compromising creative quality. As a producer, it’s exciting to witness this scale develop. Arulnithi remains the anchor of the franchise, and his commitment is unwavering. Much of the cast from the second part returns, now with deeper arcs and heightened dramatic stakes. For the moment, that’s all I can reveal, but the third chapter goes well beyond what audiences might anticipate,” adds producer Sudhan Sundaram.

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu said, “Starting the year by sharing a first look with the franchise’s fans feels special. The film is progressing beautifully, thanks in large part to Sudhan sir’s support. He never intrudes creatively, yet ensures the project remains complete and cohesive. I’m also deeply grateful to Arulnithi. Viewers have seen his range in the earlier films, and this one pushes him even further.”

While plot details for the third part remains unknown, the film will release during the summer of this year.

The other members of the technical team include cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan, editing by Kumaresh D, and dialogues by Pattukkottai Prabakar. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal and Durgaram Choudhary. RC Rajkumar, Akshat Singhal and Mohit Singhal serve as co-producers.

On the original film's tenth anniversary in May 2025, the director took to his X handle and wrote that they are working hard to craft a "chilling, cinematic and unforgettabele theatrical experience" for the third part.

It is to be noted that in an earlier interview with CE, Arulnithi said that Ajay Gnanamuthu is expanding the franchise to encompass even a fourth part depending on the success of the films.
