Suriya, Jyotika and Shalini attend Thaai Kizhavi premiere show, praise Radikaa Sarathkumar and Sivakarthikeyan

Early reviews have been extremely positive for Thaai Kizhavi with actors and industry professionals heaping praise on Raadika Sarathkumar and producer Sivakarthikeyan

Two days ahead of its release in theatres, members from the press and media fraternity, along with noted celebrities attended the premiere show of Radikaa Sarathkumar's Thaai Kizhavi. Early reviews have been extremely positive for the comedy drama with actors and industry professionals heaping praise on the actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan for presenting the film.

Among those in attendance for the premiere were Suriya and Jyotika, and Shalini Ajith Kumar who stood by the makers, clicking pictures and sharing their words of appreciation towards Raadika, director Sivakumar Murugesan and Sivakarthikeyan. The other actors present at the occasion were Sarath Kumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nalini, Nirosha, Atharvaa, Prabhu, Radha and Meena, among others.

The film follows Radikaa who plays Pavunuthaayi in the film, a recently bereaved wife who is called upon her sons to settle a property dispute following their father's death. But she is determined and vows to use all her wealth until her death. Not long after, she is bedridden and her undecipherable gestures leave her sons, family and the whole village in a frenzy as they gather to solve the mystery of her hidden properties and wealth.

In addition to Radikaa, Thaai Kizhavi also stars Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Ilavarasu, Muthukumar, George Maryan, and Raichal Rabecca. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram's Passion Studios and presented by Sivakarthikeyan's SK Productions.

On the technical front, the film features music by Nivas K Prasanna, cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar, and editing by San Lokesh. Thaai Kizhavi releases in theatres on February 27. In addition to a country-wide release, the film will also be released in Sri Lanka and France.
