'Pandi Muni' from Vemal's Vadam is an energy-filled introductory song

Written and directed by Kenthiran V, Vadam has music composed by D Imman and also stars Natty Nataraj in the lead role

The makers of Vemal's upcoming film, Vadam, unveiled the first single, titled 'Pandi Muni', on Monday. An energetic introductory song set in rooted beats, the track is composed by D Imman. Anthony Daasan has rendered the song which has lyrics penned by Gnanakaravel.

Written and directed by Kenthiran V, Vadam also stars Natty Nataraj in the lead role. Touted as a rural entertainer, the film also stars Sangeetha Kalyankumar and Bala Saravanan. Gnanakaravel is credited as the film's dialogue writer and lyricist.

On the technical front, apart from music by D Imman, the film had cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar, editing by Sabu Joseph, and stunts by GN Murugan. Rajasekar R is producing the film, the production of which commenced in August last year.

Masani Pictures is backing the film in association with Sri Vetri Vinayaga Pictures and Shayanthra Film Production. Sun Maro Pictures is also involved in the project. Vadam adds to the long list of films set in rural areas starring Vemal, also including Pasanga, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Kalavani, Desingu Raja, and Mahasenha Volume – 1.
