The romance drama With Love, directed by first-timer Madhan and starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, has been having a successful run at the box office. The film grossed around 17 crore from theatres worldwide, according to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk. Recently, the cast and crew participated in an event celebrating the film's success at the box office.

During the event, producer Soundarya Rajinikanth spoke about tasting success with the film and how her parents reacted to it. The filmmaker shared that her father Rajinikanth praised the film after its premiere. "We were so happy after the film was over," she said, referring to attending the premiere with her With Love team. The filmmaker added that her parents embraced her the moment she went home after the premiere.

"As soon as I went inside, they gave me a big hug, looked at me and smiled. Then, I asked my father, 'Is this what success looks like?' He gave me a smile, and I will not be able to forget it for the rest of my life," the producer revealed. The filmmaker added that it took her almost 18 years in cinema to know what success looks like, thanks to her team behind the romance drama. "This is my first success meet, so thank you to my team," Soundarya said.

Beyond the box office numbers, the film has received positive reviews from audiences and critics. In our review, Avinash Ramachandran wrote, "The film manages to be its own beast simply because it does a careful balancing act. While the impact of high school romance seems really big inside our heads, it is often seen as a passing cloud in the overall scheme of things. With Love gives it the respect it deserves, but it also treats the entire thing with a sense of levity and lightness."
