Director Madhan's first film With Love, starring Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan, performed well over the first six days at the box office. The film minted 10.93 crore from theatres in India, according to the industry tracker Sacnilk. On Day 5 alone, it gained an India gross collection of 1.98 crore, taking its overall tally to up to about 11 crore.

The film tells the story of a young couple meeting each other on a blind date and realising that they have been to the exact same college several years ago. Bonding over memories of the bygone days and college time crushes, the two forge a close relationship.

Abishan Jeevinth makes his acting debut with the film, which brings him back together with his Tourist Family assistant director Madhan. Audiences have been appreciating his performance in the film, with some saying that he is here to stay as an actor as well. Earlier, he made Tourist Family, one of the most profitable films of 2025, as a director.

The film also stars Kavya Anil, Harish Kumar, Sacchin Nachiappan, Theni Murugan and Saravanan, among others. Director Madhan's debut has earned mostly positive reviews from film critics. In our With Love movie review, Avinash Ramachandran wrote, "The film gets a lot of things right, almost, and that is mainly because it gives agency to all of its principal characters. The choices of Sathya, Monisha, Balaji, and Anisha are all treated with respect, and even when it deals with their younger selves, it never infantilises them."

The other day, Rajinikanth, the film's producer Soundarya's legendary actor father, met its cast and crew and conveyed his appreciation for the film. Soundarya Rajinikanth herself shared stills from their meeting and called it more than just a meeting, "an emotion".

Soundarya has produced the film through her Zion Films banner alongside Magesh Raj Pasilian of MRP Entertainment.
