With only a couple of days to go for its release, With Love, directed by debutant Madhan and starring Abishan Jeevinth and Aanswara Rajan, is getting much appreciation from those in the film industry. The latest to praise the film is the director of Meyaadha Maan, Rathna Kumar, who is also known for his work as a writer on Vikram, Leo and Master.

According to the filmmaker, "With Love is wrapped with lots and lots of love. The journey they set out to meet their high school sweet hearts for one last time is heartwarming. Movie feels like reading a treasured Greeting card, long lost slam book, a personal diary."

The film marks Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth's acting debut. As for Rathna Kumar, Abishan is "here to stay as an actor as well." Calling it a "lovely performance," he wrote that Abishan "can never fail" because of his kind-hearted nature.

On the other hand, Rathna Kumar calls Anaswara Rajan "a show stealer". For him, "As a back bench girl her walk, her micro expressions, her screen presence everything adds a lot of depth to the character."

The filmmaker also reserved special praise for actor Kavya Anil, known for her short film Malargal Keten. "Ever since watching Malargal Keten. I liked your performance and was expecting you to win more hearts. Your performance as Anisha will receive lot of love. Happy for you," he added.

He commended composer Sean Roldan's work as well. "Soul stirring hit machine Sean Roldan has delivered another sensational piece of music throughout the film. Goosebumps when a song started with your voice. My favorite moment."

Rathna Kumar gave a shout out to director Madhan as well. "Liked lot of quirks and oneliners. Very good work," the filmmaker wrote about the debutant. He ended his With Love movie review by wishing luck to the film's producers Soundarya Rajinikanth and Magesh Raj Pasilian.
