Earlier, we reported about Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan starring in a film, produced by AGS Entertainment. Tentatively titled AGS 28, the film marks the debut of Subash K Raj. The latest development about the yet-to-be-titled project is that production on it has been wrapped. Announcing the news through social media, AGS Entertainment wrote, "It’s a wrap for AGS 28! From the first clap to the final ‘Shot OK,’ it has been an incredible journey of passion, hard work, and cinematic excellence. A massive thank you to our stellar cast and dedicated crew for pouring their hearts into this project."
Billed as "a wholesome family entertainer," the film is directed by Subash from his own screenplay. Earlier, Subash served as an assistant to Pradeep Ranganathan. The cast also includes Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, John Kokken, Pawan, Vinod Sagar, Bala Hasan R, and Dileepan.
On the technical front, the film has music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan, editing by Pradeep E Ragav, and stunts by Phoenix Prabhu. It is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner. Archana Kalpathi serves as a creative producer on it. The makers are yet to reveal the specifics about the film's plot and its release date.
Most recently seen in Pa Vijay's Aghathiyaa, co-starring Jiiva, Arjun is awaiting the February 14 release of his trilingual film Seetha Payanam. Directed by and starring Arjun, the film features his daughter Aishwarya and Niranjan Sudhindra in the lead roles. Abhirami was last seen in writer-director Karunanithi's Indian Penal Law, also known as IPL. On the other hand, Preity Mukhundhan, who played a cameo in Sarvam Maya, opposite Nivin Pauly, will next be seen in Idhayam Murali, co-starring Atharvaa and Kayadu Lohar.
