Ajith has been busy on the racing front, participating and winning coveted titles in various racing championships across the world. Following a break in Chennai to vote in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections and celebrate his wedding anniversary, the actor is set to travel to France, Germany, Spain, Italy and other countries to participate in other competitions.

Amidst these, fans are also awaiting the actor's birthday on May 1 to celebrate the occasion in a grand way. Posters for the actor-racer have already filled walls across the state, but one intriguing poster has caught the attention of social media users. A poster reads, "A man who reached the peak as an actor! A winner as a car racing champion! What next tomorrow?".

Below the same poster, which wishes him for his birthday, it was also written, "Even the unworthy are dreaming of ruling the nation; take a decision soon to transform the people of Tamil Nadu into an aware and intelligent society," subtly encouraging him to join politics like his fellow actor Vijay who recently made his entry through his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

The posters have sparked massive buzz on social media. However, Ajith has neither hinted at, nor expressed his interest to join the politics in Tamil Nadu till date.

Ajith Kumar is currently awaiting a docu-film on his endeavours on the race track. Helmed by director Vijay, a release date for it is yet to be announced. On the big screen, he was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly and is set to reunite with him for AK64 which is yet to go on floors.

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar's 1999 film Amarkalam saw a re-release on Friday. Interestingly, the same day Vijay's 2005 film Sivakasi was also re-released in theatres. The actor will also see the re-release of Billa (2007) on May 1, the day when he will be celebrating his 55th birthday.
