The third single, 'Karuppa Kooda Va', from the soundtrack of the Suriya-starrer Karuppu has been released by the makers. The film, which is set to release on May 14, is directed by RJ Balaji.
Sai Abhyankkar has composed 'Karuppa Kooda Va' and has sung for it alongside VM Mahalingam. Lyrics for the song is written by Pa Vijay. The video for 'Karuppa Kooda Va' is a montage of visuals from the audio launch program which was conducted in Madurai, recently.
The cast of the film also includes Trisha, Indrans, Natty, Mansoor Ali Khan, Swasika, Sshivadha, Anagha Maya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, among others.
Vishnu Edavan and Arun Srinivasan have also written lyrics for the film's soundtrack. Cinematographer GK Vishnu, editor R Kalaivanan, production designer Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunt choreographers Anbariv and Vikram Mor, round out the crew of Karuppu.
Karuppu is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu under their Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Aravendaraj Baskaran is serving as the executive producer on the film.
