On Sunday, music composer James Vasanthan revealed that his car had been broken into by unknown people. The composer shared a video of the damaged car on Instagram, which showed the considerable damage done to the window pane, which has been shattered, seemingly by an object thrown towards it.

James Vasanthan, also captioned the video by writing, "I don't know if this is the work of wastrels or loafers. This happened, when I went to dine at a restaurant."

It is unclear whether a police report has been filed or any other legal recourse is being pursued.

James Vasanthan made his debut as a composer with Subramaniyapuram (2008). The film was written and directed by Sasikumar, in his debut, with a cast that featured himself in the lead role alongside Jai, Samuthirakani, Ganja Karuppu, Swathi, and others. The soundtrack for the film was well received and earned the composer several accolades.
