Actor Ajith Kumar, who is busy on the racing front, took his time out to land in Chennai to fulfill his democratic duty of voting in the recent Tamil Nadu assembly elections. A day later, the actor celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary with Shalini in a grand way. While pictures from the event have been going viral on social media, one picture that piqued the interest of fans was a photo where Ajith was clicked with his upcoming filmmakers - Vijay, Venkat Prabhu and Adhik Ravichandran.

For the unversed, Ajith is awaiting a docu-film on his endeavours on the race track. Helmed by the Deiva Thirumagal director, a release date for it is yet to be announced. With Adhik Ravichandran, he worked with him in last year's Good Bad Ugly and is reuniting with him in AK64 which is yet to go on floors. It is well known that Venkat Prabhu and Ajith had a glorious collaboration in Mankatha (2011) which was re-released recently to a massive response in theatres. Recently, speculations have been rife about the GOAT filmmaker joining hands with Ajith in Mankatha 2 as the director's upcoming film with Sivakarthikeyan has been delayed. While an official confirmation is awaited, a buzz regarding the same has been strong on social media.

But the recent photo has gone viral for a different reason altogether. Fans of the actor who have been widely sharing the post, also noticed the absence of a filmmaker who has made four films with Ajith. Director Siva, who has made Veeram (2014), Vivegam (2017) and Viswasam (2019) and Vedalam (2015), was absent from the event sparking debates and discussions on social media. Several fans took to the comments section to question 'Where is Siruthai Siva?' under the post. The director last made Kanguva (2024) with Suriya.

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar's 1999 film Amarkalam saw a re-release on Friday. Interestingly, the same day Vijay's 2005 film Sivakasi was also re-released in theatres. The actor will also see the re-release of Billa (2007) on May 1, the day when he will be celebrating his 55th birthday.
