Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: Sivakarthikeyan opined on the impact of social media during the current cycle for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. The actor was addressing the media after casting his vote at a local polling station in Chennai.

When asked about his opinion on whether the voter percentage will increase this time, Sivakarthikeyan quipped, "I don't have that much knowledge about this. But I believe that this is an exciting election for everybody. For the first time, social media's sway has been influential in an election. So I am intrigued to learn the results of this elections."

When asked if there will be change, the actor said, "Everyone has to come together to decide that, my opinion alone won't make a difference, but I have completed my duty."

Citizens of Tamil Nadu can vote from 7:00 am to 06:00 pm at their local polling stations, today (April 23). The votes will be counted and results will be announced on May 4.
