Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: Actor Kishen Das took to social media to highlight the heightened traffic and public transport issues faced by citizens. This comes on the polling day for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
Taking to his X handle, Kishen wrote, "So disappointed seeing so many people stranded in bus stops and on the roads due to traffic! High voter turnout in general is so difficult to achieve, now this logistic issue will definitely hurt a healthy polling percentage. Wish this could’ve been avoided!"
He added, "Any fix Election Commission of India?With most intercity buses needing 7-8+ hours to get to their destinations in general, many won’t make it on time to vote today! Also, this is not a targeted tweet to any party, I don’t know where the issue lies, I’m just trying to help find a solution."
Voters across Tamil Nadu can vote from 7:00 am to 06:00 pm at their local polling stations, today (April 23). On May 4, the votes will be counted and results will be announced.
