Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: Parthiban took to social media to share a note on the polling day of Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. The actor-filmmaker share some thoughts about polling and governance.

Taking to his X handle the actor wrote, "In every election, candidates win. At least this time, let the people win. I went and performed my mai (ink) magic, so that the next time candidates can promise to solve the problems of citizens and the politicians can enter a positive environment, where the citizens don't face any problems."

The actor has also been pursuing a 'no caste, no religion' certificate, and has pursued a legal course, after delays in the administrative process. He has called for discarding caste and religion identifiers.

Voters across Tamil Nadu can vote from 7:00 am to 06:00 pm at their local polling stations, today (April 23). On May 4, the votes will be counted and results will be announced.
