Tamil Nadu Elections 2026: Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar addressed the bomb threats she had received recently, in an interaction with the media, after voting for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.

The actor-politician also addressed the bomb threats she had received, by saying, "I think these are part and parcel of being in a political party, or a political arena. It is not the first time there was a bomb threat in my house. But this time, there was a slightly more serious one. Extremely thankful to the Police who took immediate action. They were there, the bomb squad was there. There was continuous security, 24x7."

When asked about how she feels about exercising her right as a citizen, Khushbu said, "You can see the smile on my face, that says it all. Casting my vote has been my biggest democratic right and I think this matters a lot to me as a citizen of the country."

When asked about her opinions on actor-politician Vijay, Khusbhu urged to not discuss any political party in a polling station.

Her husband, director Sundar C, is contesting in the Madurai Central constituency.

Voters across Tamil Nadu can vote from 7:00 am to 06:00 pm at their local polling stations, today (April 23). On May 4, the votes will be counted and results will be announced.
