Tamil Nadu Election 2026: Trisha casts her vote, teases support for Vijay

Trisha pinned a song from Ghilli in her voting status post

Trisha joined a large number of celebrities informing through social media that they have cast their votes in the Tamil Nadu Election. Interestingly, the actor also pinned the 'Arjunar Villu' song from Ghilli, co-starring, to her post about her exercising her duty. It is worth noting that Vijay is contesting in two constituencies in the election this time around. There has also been speculation about Vijay and Trisha's relationship for a long time now. While she did not mention Vijay in her post, her decision to pin the Ghilli song to her voting status post on social media signifies where her allegiance might lie.

It is also worth noting that Vijay is contesting in Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East in the election and that Trisha cast her vote at St Francis Xavier School in Alwarpet, Chennai. Alwarpet belongs to the Mylapore Assembly Constituency.

On the film front, Trisha and Vijay was last seen in The Greatest of All Time, where the former made a brief appearance in a song. Last seen in director Mani Ratnam's Thug Life alongside Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR, the actor's upcoming films include Karuppu, co-starring Suriya and directed by RJ Balaji, and Vishwambhara, co-starring Chiranjeevi.
