Interestingly, the actor also pinned the 'Arjunar Villu' song from Ghilli, co-starring, to her post about her exercising her duty. While she did not mention Vijay in her post, her decision to pin the Ghilli song to her voting status post on social media signifies where her allegiance might lie. The pinned song starts with the part where a whistle is blown.

It is worth noting that Vijay's party TVK has the Whistle symbol and that he is contesting in two constituencies in the election this time around. There has also been speculation about Vijay and Trisha's relationship for a long time now.

It is also worth noting that Vijay is contesting in Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East in the election and that Trisha cast her vote at St Francis Xavier School in Alwarpet, Chennai. Alwarpet belongs to the Mylapore Assembly Constituency.

On the film front, Trisha and Vijay was last seen in The Greatest of All Time, where the former made a brief appearance in a song.
