Many celebrities expressed their happiness at the large turnout at polling booths in this year's Tamil Nadu Election. Ravi Mohan is the latest to speak about it.

The actor talked to the media soon after casting his vote. He said, "I have fulfilled my duty as a citizen. I would like to see you also fulfilling it. This is a very interesting election. Definitely, good things will happen."

Subsequently, a reporter asked Ravi Mohan about the large turnout at the Tamil Nadu Election 2026. At the time, there was 70 per cent voter turnout. According to the latest reports, the turnout has gone up to 82 per cent by 5:00 pm today.

Speaking about the high turnout, Ravi added, "I am delighted to see youngsters showing more interest in it this time around as compared to the previous election. This is also quite necessary. Cannot expect a bigger change than seeing them being actively involved in it."

Ravi Mohan's views about the significance of this election echoed those of GV Prakash. He said that it is as important as it has ever been. "There will be pluses and minuses in every term. We take these into calculation while casting our votes. I think this is what has happened this time around as well."

Ravi also said that he is delighted to see a person from the film industry (without mentioning Vijay) contesting in the election. "Definitely, good things will happen."
