Actor Priyanka Mohan had an unexpected meeting with Congress MP Shashi Tharoor at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the President's banquet to honour the visiting South Korean President Lee Jae-myung. The actor was there as a representative of her latest film Made in Korea, which was shot extensively in South Korea.

The noted politician posted on his X handle, sharing that he was happy to catch up with his "old friend" Cho Hyun, Foreign Minister of Korea and other senior officials at the banquet. He further shared pictures with the actor stating that it was a "delight" to meet Priyanka Mohan. After two excellent conversations with Dr S Jaishankar and CJI SuryaKant at the banquet, I had two unexpected encounters on the way out. Given the Korean connection, it was a delight to meet Priyanka Mohan, star of Made in Korea." He also met K-pop star Aoora and took pictures with him.

Calling it a "memorable encounter", Priyanka expressing her happiness on meeting Shashi Tharoor. "Sir!! It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, had a splendid evening. I truly enjoyed our conversation, and I really appreciate you capturing that lovely photo of me," she wrote.

Her latest film Made in Korea follows Shenba (Priyanka Mohan) whose massive dream of visiting Korea with her boyfriend, shatters in betrayal. Grappling with loneliness and cultural challenges, she rediscovers herself, her identity and forms a bond for life with her newfound friends.

Besides Priyanka Mohan, the film also stars Rishikanth, Baek Si-hoon, Jaehyun Jang, Kim So-ri, Ha Ram, and Kim Rok. Since its release on March 12, the film has been receiving positive response, with appreciation for its storyline.
