There has been much speculation about director Bharathiraja's health in the recent past. After his recent hospitalisation for breathing troubles, some reports painted a false narrative about the legendary filmmaker's health. Subsequently, the director's family and multiple film personalities, who have visited him, set the record straight regarding his health. The latest to share his thoughts concerning the filmmaker's health is producer JSK Satishkumar, known for backing movies such as director Ram's Thanga Meengal and Bramma's Kuttram Kadithal.

Taking to X, Satishkumar wrote, "Happy to see our legend director Bharathiraja sir recovered after a strong battle. Self confidence always win. God bless wish you sir. A healthy happy life to cross 100 years."

The producer also shared a video where the staff of the director's hospital meets and talks to him. One of them, Dr Natesan C, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharathi Rajaa Multispecialty Hospital, asks the filmmaker if he recognises him, and he does. When the filmmaker calls him Natesan, it brings a smile to everyone's face and a round of applause.

Recently, filmmakers such as Seenu Ramasamy, Chitra Lakshmanan, Ameer, Seeman, RK Selvamani, AR Murugadoss, Kalaipuli S Thanu, and Lingusamy visited Bharathiraja at the hospital. Subsequent to his visit, Lingusamy shared an update about it, where he said that the director's "health is stable".
