'Ennai En' single from Samuthirakani's Carmeni Selvam is a soulful track that reflects a myriad of emotions

Titled 'Ennai En', the new song from Carmeni Selvam has been sung by Rakshitha Suresh, KS Harisankar and Shreya Sriranga

With just two days to go for the release of Samuthirakani and Gautham Vasudev Menon's Carmeni Selvam, the makers have released the third single from the film. Titled 'Ennai En', the song has been described as a "soulful track that reflects emotion, silence, and the inner world of Selvam." It shows Samuthirakani's Selvam scaling great heights and chasing all the money he can, while his wife, played by Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli misses their simple and content life that they used to enjoy. Even their son expresses his displeasure on being away from his father. Sung by Rakshitha Suresh, KS Harisankar and Shreya Sriranga, the song has lyrics by Uma Devi.

Earlier, the makers had shared two singles, namely, a title track and 'Adada Adada' told the stories of the Selvam's life and his joyous life before it all changes due to certain circumstances.

Besides Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, the film also stars Abhinaya, Karthik Kumar, Badava Gopi, Madhumitha, Arjunan, Sankara Narayan V, Haritha Parakod, Kothandam and Karan Chakravarthi.

Carmeni Selvam will revolve around Selvam (Samuthirakani), who has been living a peaceful life, and starts developing a greed for money.

Carmeni Selvam is produced by Arun Rangarajulu, with Sree Saravanan as a creative producer. Pathway Productions is the banner backing the film. In a first, music for the film is composed by Musicloud Studio and Technologies company. The rest of the technical crew for the film includes Yuvraj Dakshan as the director of photography, Jagan RV and Dinesh S as the editors, and Shankar as the production designer.

The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 3.
