Ever since the project was announced, the production of Vishal's starrer Magudam has been progressing at a swift pace. The first look and title were revealed late last month, suggesting Vishal will have multiple looks in the film.

The latest update from the makers is that the film has entered its third schedule. The Magudam team landed for the second schedule in Ooty, where the third schedule is set to proceed. The hill station will likely serve as the major backdrop of the film.

Magudam marks the first collaboration between Vishal and director Ravi Arasu, who has previously made Eetti and Ayngaran. The film also stars Dushara Vijayan as the female lead, with Anjali and Yogi Babu in prominent roles.

This film marks the 99th production feature of the popular Super Good Films banner.

Magudam's music will be composed by GV Prakash, who is joining hands with the actor for the second time after Mark Antony. Cinematography is by Richard M Nathan, and editing is handled by Srikanth NB. G Durairaj is the production designer.
