The makers of the Dulquer Salmaan-headlined Kaantha have released the single, 'Rage of Kaantha', from the film's soundtrack. Jhanu Chanthar composes music for the film, which releases on November 14.

'Rage of Kaantha' features lyrics in Tamil, Telugu, and English, all in the same version. Rapper Yogi B has written and performed the Tamil portions of the song, with AbhinavaKavi, who has written and performed the Telugu portions. 'Rage of Kaantha' also features the vocals of Siddharth Basrur, with English lyrics by LunarPunk, and additional Tamil rap lyrics by Devoid.

Earlier two singles from Kaantha, 'Kanmani Nee' ('Ammadive' in Telugu) and 'Panimalare' ('Pasi Manase' in Telugu), were released. The cast of the film also includes Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, and Rana Daggubati, among others. Dulquer and Rana are producing the film under their Wayfarer Films banner and Spirit Media banner, respectively. Prashanth Potluri and Jom Varghese also produce the film.

Kaantha is written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The rest of the technical crew of Kaantha consists of Dani Sanchez-Lopez as the cinematographer and Lewllyn Anthony Gonsalvez as the editor.
