The other day, Bison star Lal showed a glimpse of his sense of humour at the screening of his sports drama with Mari Selvaraj in Kochi. After the screening, Lal said that one actor is sad about missing out on the film and that is his friend Suresh Krishna. Earlier today, we reported about Suresh expressing his regret at not being able to star in the film as Dhruv Vikram's coach due to his schedule in Malayalam cinema. After making the witty remark, which elicited laughs among the audience and his Bison director and co-stars, Lal asked the filmmaker to make Suresh part of his next film.

Lal also quipped about his third consecutive appearance in films with director Mari Selvaraj. "It seems like he cannot do a film without me or a dog," said the actor. He went on to add, with his trademark humour, "I hope he has the good fortune of doing more good films and making me act in them."

Lal plays a big-wig named Kandasamy in one of the two factions in the sports drama, the other being the one led by Ameer's character. A man caught in the world of caste-based violence, Kandasamy still admires Kabaddi and encourages Dhruv's Kittan to aim big in the sport.
